Your appointment time is reserved just for you. A late cancellation or missed visit leaves a hole in the practitioner’s day that could have been filled by another patient. As such, patients who provide less than 24 hours notice, or miss their appointment, will be charged a cancellation fee equal to the cost of their appointment. Thank you for understanding.

Acupuncture is generally very gentle. You may feel a brief pinch, tingling, warmth, heaviness or a dull ache when a needle is inserted, but these sensations are usually mild and short-lived. Once the needles are in place, most people feel deeply relaxed and often forget they're there.
-
Yes! All needles are sterile, individually packaged and used only once before being safely disposed of.
-
Acupuncture works cumulatively, meaning results build with consistent treatment over time. Most patients benefit from more frequent treatments initially, with sessions spaced further apart as progress is made.
Your recommended treatment plan will be discussed during your first appointment and tailored to your individual goals and concerns

Yes! When performed by a licensed acupuncturist, acupuncture is considered safe during pregnancy and is beneficial to many conditions experienced during pregnancy.
-
Acupuncture is commonly used in the final weeks of pregnancy to help prepare the body for labour and support the natural onset of labour. While it cannot guarantee that labour will begin, some research suggests it may help encourage cervical ripening and support the body's readiness for birth.
Labour preparation treatments are typically offered at 36 weeks of pregnancy and are tailored to your individual circumstances.
-
You can start any time! Treatments support all phases of your cycle, including menstruation, ovulation and the luteal phase so there is never a bad time to start.
-
Ideally acupuncture should begin at least 2-3 months before your IVF or IUI cycle. This allows time to support egg quality, sperm quality, hormone balance, menstrual cycle health and overall reproductive wellness.
However, it's never too late to start. Acupuncture can also be beneficial during an active treatment cycle, helping to support blood flow to the reproductive organs, reduce stress and complement your fertility treatment plan.

Cosmetic acupuncture uses fine needles to stimulate circulation, support collagen production and improve overall skin health.
Treatments focus on both facial concerns and underlying factors such as stress, digestion, sleep and hormonal balance that can affect the skin.
-
Cosmetic acupuncture may help improve the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles, skin tone, puffiness, dullness and overall skin vitality. It can also be used alongside treatments for acne, rosacea and other skin concerns.
-
Just like regular acupuncture, results build gradually over time. A series of 8–10 weekly treatments is typically recommended, followed by maintenance sessions depending on your goals
-
Many patients notice improvements after just a few treatments. Changes in fine lines, skin tone and firmness generally become more noticeable throughout a full treatment series
-
Cosmetic acupuncture works differently than injectable treatments. Rather than immobilizing muscles or adding volume, it focuses on improving circulation, supporting collagen production, releasing tight muscles and promoting overall skin health. Many patients choose it as a natural alternative or use it alongside other aesthetic treatments.
-
Both treatments include facial acupuncture, full-body acupuncture, Celluma LED Light Therapy and a facial gua sha massage.
Each treatment is designed to support healthy, radiant skin while addressing the internal factors that influence your complexion and overall well-being.
